About Me
My journey into healthcare began with a desire to serve others in their most vulnerable moments, especially in the Army. Transitioning from a background focused on precision and duty, I found my calling in nursing, where clinical expertise meets human connection. I am pursuing my career in nursing here at WMU in hopes of becoming a ER Nurse.
Serving as a Combat Medic Specialist in the U.S. Army instilled in me a level of resilience and adaptability that defines my professional character. Managing medical readiness for an 800-person battalion taught me the importance of leadership, rapid decision-making under pressure, and the critical nature of meticulous logistics in saving lives.
My nursing philosophy is rooted in holistic advocacy and clinical excellence. I believe that true healing occurs when we treat the patient, not just the condition. By combining the tactical precision of my military training with an empathetic, patient-centered approach, I strive to provide care that is as technically sound as it is deeply compassionate.
In my free time I enjoy working out, and exploring the outdoors. I find exercise to be a great way to manage some of my harder experiences I have been through in my job. I post regularly to my Instagram, Facebook and TikTok to keep myself accountable along my fitness journey.
I also really enjoy spending time with my family and post a lot of the activities I do with them.
Bridging the gap between front-line resilience and compassionate clinical care, I bring a unique perspective shaped by military service and a deep commitment to the nursing profession.
